Who and where we are.

John is an expert in designing for climate, resulting in a regional modernist architecture.

John was the first LEED-Accredited Professional in the state of Louisianain 2002 and was the founding Chair of the USGBC Louisiana. He served as President of AIA Mississippi 2017-2018. John earned a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Texas and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Southern California.

Prior to joining unabridged Architecture in 2007, John worked for 13 years at AIA 2014 Architecture Firm of the Year Eskew+Dumez+Ripple in New Orleans, Louisiana.

John serves on the Board of Directors of The Arts Hancock County and the Bay St Louis Little Theatre. He was selected as one of ten recipients of the One Coast Community Leader Award in 2023, presented by the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce.

When he is not drawing, John usually has a guitar in his hands, and is a member of several rock and blues bands.
