unabridged often works with clients as a feasibility consultant, testing different options for economic value, constructability, or to pass regulatory challenges. In this project, we worked with the owner for seven years to redevelop a triangular site in the Marigny district of New Orleans, with options ranging from a four-story mixed-use housing development to a one-story restaurant. Envisioning multiple possibilities for the same site is a great test of the architect’s imagination and contributes to the owner’s certainty that the direction they choose is the right direction to establish long-term value.
