Mockingbird Café

After Hurricane Katrina, Mockingbird restored a 1868 house to become the charming, eclectic community hub, offering coffee, mimosas, breakfast, and lunch and many special events. During the pandemic, more people were searching for safe spaces to dine outdoors, so unabridged added porches on either side of the wraparound porch – one side with a large space with a stage for bands and other performances, the other side with more intimate bar seating.
