george county shelters

CIVIC

These community evacuation shelters meet 250+mph winds, blast-resistant design for debris impact, and continuity of operations. They are located outside of flood zones.

Precast concrete panels were sandblasted to reveal the texture of the locally-sourced aggregate. The metal panels cover concrete shells to ensure the safety of occupants.
